what's more.. it's direct entry into year 2!!!!
ok la.. save one year also gd la. $6360 tuition fee u noe. but the distance is hell far. even driving is a bad choice when the fatigue overpowers in the evening for such long distance driving. torturous is ok, dangerous is more of a concern. not calculating the amount of petrol needed everyday for such long distance.
since uni vacation are very long, and it's also going to be 3 yrs like poly (cos the 4 yrs course got shorten to 3 yrs for me ma), the actual studying period is slightly shorter than in poly u noe. but who cares la... it's definitely more stress =/

Yes the result of CAAS exam papers we took during April...
Basic Aerodynamics - Pass Human Factors - Pass Aviation Legislation - Pass Gas Turbine Engine - Fail
To my surprise, and everyone's surprise... I PASSED Aviation Legislation aka aviation law!!! and i have not found out who actually managed to pass Gas Turbine Engine. heard from the previous cohort.. no one manage to pass it also, including the apprentice engineers from SIAEC. i regretted not taking Physics paper. zzzz.
so now i have passed 5 out of the 11 CAAS aircraft maintenance engineers' exam. wooo!! but human factors and aviation legislation have only a validity of 5 years. so yea.. probably i will have to take them again if i wan to go uni first =/
alright.. anybody's missing me? hahahaha....

040609 meiwah's gift Specially met meiwah at our ubi park downstairs cos she has a gift for me. waited blindly downstairs for a whooping 45min cos i didnt inform her tt i've reached =x and tt gift is giant la... an aircraft model of F-14. tt looks something like this:
this's not cheap yooo. guess i more heart pain than happy la. i guess she really spent quite a bomb on this as NS gift. diao-ed. and so cute of her to step into the shop and duno wad to buy. LOL. hahaha. and on the other hand, i really wan to complete it before NS but i guess it's very impossible, it's a giant project, minus the painting. maybe next time should save money and take her on a ride with modern airplanes tt doesnt use 'fans' one. hahahaha....

080609 Kbox with meiwah and mabel, dinner with HWN peeps yup.. karkoon went kbox!!! *stun* along with meiwah and mabel. suay-ly promised cos they scored too well for O level =.= and everyone's late but karkoon was the earliest =D very erm.. remarkable achievement =x
went to marina square kbox and sang till ard 2.30pm before i left for my very last piano lesson. i must say meiwah and mabel are very gd singers since they were from choir =.= while i just go there and malu myself =/ but i really enjoyed myself =D
last piano lesson is kinda like nothing much la. really play till vomit blood. grade 8 really not easy. and i have to stop for weeks. i guess my progress shall really be hindered by alot.
met up with HWN ppl in the evening for dinner at suntec Fish and Co. and i was the earliest again =D den i realised.. hey i was the youngest amongst them - leonard, cheryl and alan.. 27, 22 and 24. zzzzz. great time catching up la. talked abt NDP and Chingay as usual since that was what brought us together as exco and staff.
leonard got a freaking funny incident and i guess i shall share it over here. as senior immigration officer at keppel harbour, he has to take a chartered bus ride in and out the restricted area. so one day he missed the bus out and have to wait for 3hrs just for the 20min bus ride. so he decided to walk out aft changing back to his civilian clothes and was stopped by an auxiliary police of a rank of private right before the gate. of cos he cant possibly be walking back since he just need to get out of the gate and he will be in public area alr. below is the convo..

dun worry so much abt me ppl! leong said i will make it through cos NCC of those days are tougher. and bros have the confidence in me cos besides being suddenly sotong and more sotong than the blurest sotong u can find at very rare times, they say i have great adaptability which allow me to settle down and get used to environment fast enough.
and eh.. this question becoming more and more frequently asked.. "men, sispec or OCS?". that will depend whether im motivated and whether i like the kind of life anot. hahaha. i know everyone has high expectation of me. but it doesnt mean i can/want to be capable in different situations. even if i like the kind of life and wan to chiong, it doesnt mean i sure get into a command school too. so yea.. dun focus so much on karkoon pls.
but i must say these comments are definitely quite encouraging. initial impression of look by most frens on me are quite easily understandable - weak, incapable, useless brat. thanks for believing in me and ignore the social stereotypes =)

200509 TP Graduation Ceremony! ok.. let me first congrat our sotong lili who got 2nd and yvonne who got 3rd for the entire 386ppl cohort. damn powerful pls. lili only won yvonne by the number of distinctions, not GPA. if im yvonne, i probably will take a knife and stab lili =x see our clique got 2 extreme insane GPA ppl =.=
waited very long for this.. graduation!!! went to sch early and do some meaningful stunts with mabel. take photo with her when she was supposed to go for lesson. LOL.
yea.. she rushed back for lesson aft tt while i took my time to the convention centre. thanks mabel for taking photo with me! =D

220509 Distant Worlds - Final Fantasy concert. many ppl missed this concert. luckily some classmates alerted me on this. though im not a FF fan, i do listen to FF music. told huizhen abt it and tata... she ordered the tix. who knows she actually bought the most expensive tix.. S$80 *faint* luckily got enough money to return her =x
well well well.. someone was late huh? half an hour wait though. ended up late for the concert. partly cos... Thai Express was busy rushing with lots of orders from diners like us going for concert =.=
nice concert la.. seriously. first time watching concert in esplanade. but the ppl abit no concert etiquette la. super noisy.

280509 Air Force selection board ok.. this's gonna interest some ppl. went to AFRC very early tt morning to listen to briefing of air force career by a captain. long 1 hour talk abt salary and such. den waited 3 hours for the interview. right before the interview, the clerk told me tt they cannot close the selection process cos im going to NS in 2 weeks' time. and wad's the point of me going anyway? the solution is tt.. i have to re-apply again in BMT. waste my time to go there lo =.= but i still can sit for the interview for nothing la. didnt really throw in my best but just wan to get some interview experience since i was alr there. got interviewed by one 1WO and 2 MWO. xiong. of cos first started off with simple qns like.. "why u chose AOSS?". more or less test on my communication skills la. den they realised i nv pass napfa and screwed me upside down. tried to divert their attention with my other gd scores in napfa. den after rounds of throwing spears and daggers and swords with mouths at both sides, there's one conclusion.. quoted directly:
" ok la.. yr communication skills is superb la. yr leadership records is fantastic la (flip a page). WHAT?! PRESIDENT OF STUDENT COUNCIL SOMEMORE?! (den the others started flipping through my leadership records) and yr academic results.. say honestly it's freaking great for AOSS. BUT YOU NEVER PASS YOUR NAPFA! we cant do anything abt it."
the 1WO hope i can pass napfa in 2 weeks which i said it's totally impossible when it comes to stamina since im way off the 2.4km chart.
and yup.. that was how i ended my very 1st real job interview. hahaha.
days later i received a phone call again.. "Congratulation! u have passed the AOSS interview.". wa... i lidat can pass ar? anyway.. it doesnt matter if they pass or fail me, cos i have to re-apply again anyway. dangx.

ok finally back on track to update on my life. a month worth of stuffs to talk about.
erm.. back track a little to day 8 of taiwan trip. was having a light lunch in tao yuan international airport in taipei, when i wanted to order starbucks in the food court.yea this food court has a starbucks stall. but but but.. the menu is in both chinese and english. was trying very hard to pronounce the mocha frappuccino in chinese. sadly, ended in frustration.. i said it in english. luckily tt lady over the counter knew what i was talking abt. heng. imagine u have a list of directly translated menu. u see and will scream wth like some sort of tongue twister. LOL. tt makes me look like a dumb singaporean. it's obvious of yr nationality when a chinese speaks english in taiwan. with abit of angmoh slang = hong kong. other than tt, u might be from sg, or very unlikely, m'sia. in very rare cases.. u get the following: english with a little malay slang = indo. english with china slang = china.
the stall next to starbucks was a fishball noodles stall. there was a young girl, probably slightly younger than me, screamed across the food court to the opposite stall. just nice i got caught in the middle =.= she did not see me coming of cos since she was nearer to the wall between starbucks and her stall. she was so embarrassed till she squatted down and hide. HAHAHAHA. wth la... it was like as though screaming across a river, but it got directly into my ear drum. pain la~~

240409 pri sch classmates movie outing in town! the plan of the night was dinner, movie and clubbing. i missed clubbing cos i need to go home early to rest as there's piano lesson early in the morning the next day.
dinner was a hell long wait at pizza hut lucky plaza. so long till we had an hour of wait. and the orders were messed up in terms of quantity of items. we were late for movie cos of this. zzzz.
movie was.. 17 again! very nice movie, much more than wad i was expecting. great!

yea yc wants to learn swimming before NS. so we the few of us - liling, zhikai, patsy, yc and me went to zhikai's sis' condo at kembangan to swim. go there and realise... no showering facilities for visitors! sianz. but at least got changing room la. swim for very long till the sky turned dark. patsy was as though she duno how to swim.. but actually she's quite pro la. liling was the erm.. not so pro one. zhikai was gd too. dried ourselves and went to eat mi sua. went home and gathered to play viwawa =.=

150409 youtube symphony orchestra ok this has nothing to do with u if u are not so into orchestra music. it has to do with the music u are listening right now. youtube began an audition last year to form the world's first online collaborative symphony orchestra. to enter the audition, simply just upload yr audition pieces. there are 2 pieces regardless of which instruments u play - one which is a piece tt was played during the performance, another is a special music written by Tan Dun for the orchestra named Internet Symphony No.1. i saw the piano score for Internet Symphony No. 1.. knowing it sounds really nice.. but i dun have that much calibre to play it well within the 3 months of audition period. nevertheless i enjoyed listening to those audition pieces. 96 musicians (both amateurs and professionals) were selected from 30 countries to participate in the concert in New York. the performance was on 15th april 2009 and it was great just to listen to it online. go to www.youtube.com/symphony to listen to the 2.5hrs concert.

300409 ok i went back to school, intending to just rent the graduation robe, but it became an eventful day.
once i reached sch, i mass sms everybody who were possible in sch. yea another dumb act from karkoon. and den i found out.. yes my clique is doing the aerospace engineering noticeboard. so went there to help. left half way to sign up the alumni card before the office close. den went to see mabel and meiwah at mensa since their lessons ended. stayed there for quite a while with the choir girls. while sending meiwah to bus stop, i got yelled from upstairs by farhan and lishan abt my ex-cca's AGM was tt day. LOL. so yea.. promised to go. went to meet up the clique to rent graduation robe and den chiong to LT to watch the AGM ceremony. took quite alot of pics here and there.
yea i was the only one who didnt wear formal for such a big occasion. oops.
went to the prata shop opposite of sch with sandra, lishan and farhan for dinner when it was alr 11pm =.= den the exco came over too! wad a coincidence la.
drove sandra and lishan home. reached home and shagged. supposed to be a simple 15min in sch. ended up stayed until midnight. hahahaha.

140509 meiwah's com broke down and came over my hse to do her online assignments. great time spent afterall we were most of the time like virtual friends, or erm.. virtual tiger cub and kitty =.= the fun thing that day was when she was chatting with mabel on msn. mabel had some qns for me and i had to reply using meiwah's acc. so yup.. asked whether to type as meiwah or myself. but i asked meiwah in this way '打我，打你?'. or direct translation: 'type you or type me?'. so she said '打你'. immediately i gave myself a super hard slap and shook her up. hahaha. the sudden stunned look of meiwah was damn cute pls. hahahaha...

160509 there was this career as commercial pilot talk by ST Aviation Training Academy (STATA) in TP and i signed up for it. missed the first 15min of it but luckily it was intro by TP. realised they are collaborating with the world's best aerospace uni - Embry Riddle Aeronautical University to come out with degree programs. hopefully by the time i finish NS, i will be able to sign up for this. the 4 programmes are:
1) Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance Science 2) Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business Administration 3) Master of Business Administration in Aviation eh i cant rmb the 4th one? lol. i only rmb it's a master program.
and den it was presentation STATA. nothing much i can say.. if you have US$85k, why not try to sign up as self-funding commercial pilot?
after the talk, leong called up to meet up with the bros. agreed but it was too early, so went to see meiwah after her work at TP swensens.
went to tamp library to return her overdued books. but the funny thing was... karkoon's cashcard has only $0.92. hahaha. agreed to treat her ice cream.
den bros all came early.. so ended up.. i treat ice cream to all of them at haagen daz century square. it became a daylight robbery cos.. they decided to order fondue! *faint*
chase meiwah home cos she got lots of work to do. had dinner at ajisen before spending the night at TM arcade.
